All registered participants will received a copy of the IAU Symposium Proceedings. It is included in the registration fees.
The IAU has rules and guidelines for manuscript submission( click here)
based on its publishing contract with Cambridge University Press (CPU). One of those rules says the Proceedings will be published within six months of the end of the Symposium. CUP needs three months for its own processing, leaving three months for the Editors to do their work. This means that
all authors must deliver their completed manuscripts to the Chief Editor during the Symposium. Authors wishing to make revisions may submit a revised version before January 31, 2011, six weeks after the end of the Symposium. All the necessary files to prepare the manuscript can be found at:
http://www.iau.org/static/scientific_meetings/authors_2010/.
Additionally, an author must give his consent to publish and transfer the copyright, either by filling the form online: (http://www.iau.org/science/publications/copyrightform/) or by giving back at the registration desk the form given to you in your participant kit (or click here to download the PDF form).
